2004 - 2005
Cooking, Juggling & Getting Hurt. Crash Course was a comedy cooking stage show hosted and created by Scot Nery. In fact Scot was the person who did everything except run the ticket booth and the lights -- though he did design the ticketing system and rewire the theater and program the lightboard.
Each week for a year, Scot hosted a guest chef, and created a meal based on a weekly theme. Themes ranged from "Spring Break at the Vatican" to "Food For Robots" to "Gingerbread Crackhouse."
"A comedic success and a culinary disaster!"

2006 - 2007
Contraganda is a comedy show about Propaganda; how it works and how to make it work for you. Contraganda has only been performed once at UCLA.
Like an educational lecture from a psychopath, the comedy comes in the form of an audio/ visual presentation mixed with juggling and magic. Contraganda jumps schizophrenically from real PR info to preposterous ideas.

Scot and his father David Nery are working together to provide a way for fans to connect with local live bands in Scot's home town area. The site (jambrain.com) will be finished soon as a resource for finding bands and venues with great live music near Youngstown, OH.
